The Capt. Irene Ndanu Nzuve Foundation is a non-profit, community-driven organization dedicated to fostering sustainable development and empowerment in Kenya, with a primary focus on Machakos County. Established to honor the legacy of its namesake, Capt. Irene Ndanu Nzuve—a figure presumably embodying leadership, service, and community commitment—the foundation operates on principles of inclusivity, grassroots participation, and long-term impact.
We focus on empowering women and youth, supporting education, providing healthcare access, nurturing talents in sports and arts, promoting entrepreneurship, and advancing environmental conservation.
Through education sponsorships, entrepreneurship training, climate action, and youth leadership development, we equip young people with the tools to break barriers, create opportunities, and lead change in their communities.
Integrating tree planting, awareness, and sustainable practices across all programs to build climate resilience.
Supporting small and micro-enterprises through training, mentorship, innovation promotion, and strengthening local businesses for ward- and county-level growth.
We enhance skills, leadership, and economic independence for women and youth, with a focus on entrepreneurship, agricultural support (including seedlings and farm inputs), and capacity building for food security.
Providing bursaries and support to needy students to reduce dropout rates and promote academic excellence.
Bringing essential services to underserved areas via mobile clinics, focusing on basic care, early diagnosis, and health awareness.
County-wide football event for talent scouting and unity and Structured training and competitive opportunities for players.
Capt. Irene Ndanu Nzuve Music and Band Competition: A nationwide event to promote creativity, provide exposure, and encourage cultural expression.
We work closely with communities to understand the most pressing challenges in education, employment, healthcare, and environmental sustainability.
Through mentorship, training, scholarships, and business support, we create programs that provide long-term solutions to these challenges.
Our team, along with dedicated partners and volunteers, delivers impactful education sponsorships, small business grants, youth leadership training, and community health initiatives.
